This guide is for people who may have gotten a new device and would like to transfer their new database from one computer to another. This guide will provide simple and easy steps to help you.
Things you need: USB Drive (Preferably at least 32 GBS)
Open any module to press on the Data button
Hit the Convert button, and then press Backup. Now close all modules and restart your PC
Type %appdata% on the Windows Search Bar located at the bottom left of your screen.
Look for the %appdata% File Folder which should show up.
Once you open the folder, it should bring you to either one of the two pages like the image shown below:
Make sure you see a folder called "Local"
If you do not, click the button called AppData which will take you to the page with the Local folder.
Once you are on that page, find a folder called "BasDatabases"
Drag the folder into a USB which you will then use to transfer to your new device. In order to import it to the correct location, make sure to follow Steps 1-5 on the new device which will bring you to the page where you drag the new folder from the USB into the new system. Essentially wherever you get the BasDatabases folder on your old device will also be the place where you add the folder on the new device.
If you already have a BasDatabase folder on your new device, you can delete it and just add your transferred folder.
This should conclude the transfer guide. Make sure to transfer from Windows 10 to Windows 10 ONLY. You can also transfer through the cloud by using OneDrive if you are signed in on the same Microsoft account but note that if you are a free user, you will be limited to 5GBs of storage. Your database may require more storage especially if your data exceeds 5GBs.
