Catchall Setup Catchall Purchasing Learn the use of catchalls Utilize Catchalls to its potential Catchalls are email addresses that can be made on the fly for accounts. You'll create a list by buying a domain and setting up email forwarding and subdomains for the subdomains. How you exactly go about email forwarding and creating/forwarding subdomains will differ slightly depending on where you bought them from.

IONOS

Go to IONOS and type in your desired domain.

  1. Make sure that the domain is $1 and not taken by other parties.

  1. Once you've decided on the domain, add it to the cart and purchase the domain.

  2. Follow the instructions that are sent to your email and make sure to confirm your domain.

  3. Once you've completed those steps, Click Menu on the Top Left

  4. Click Email and click Create on Email Forward (Right Side)

  1. Once you are on this page. Type in * for the First Email Box

  2. Type in the email that you want all the emails to be forwarded to and Click Save.

  3. Your email page should look like this.

You should be ready to go once that is complete. Test to make sure that the catchall is receiving emails by sending a random email to your domain. Send to ________@(yourdomain).com MAKE SURE TO TURN OFF AUTORENEWAL OR USE A VCC as the next year will cost $17.

NameCheap

NameCheap is a bit more expensive in the first year than IONOS but the price will stay the same in the second renewal year.

  1. Go to NameCheap

  2. Enter your desired domain. (.com is usually recommended but you may also use other domains such as .xyz .ru or whatever is the cheapest)

  3. Once you've purchased the domain, Sign In, and go to Dashboard

  4. You will see your newly purchased domain. Click Manage and Scroll down until you see Redirect Email

Click Add Catch-All.

Add your forwarded email and click the Check Mark.

You should be good to go.

These are the main ways to buy a domain and to utilize a catchall, there are many other ways that you can use but that is totally up to you.
