π Proxy Guide
Proxies are essential when botting. Without them, websites will often block or rate-limit your IP address due to too many requests coming from a single source. Proxies prevent this by routing your traffic through different IPsβgiving you more reach, less bans, and better overall performance.
A small investment in proxies can make a massive difference in your success rate. In fact, we highly recommend mixing proxies from multiple providers to create a more diverse and resilient pool.
π§ Understanding Proxy Types
Datacenter / ISP Proxies
πΈ Most affordable
β‘ Great for speed and high thread count bots
β Can get blocked on more protected sites
Residential Proxies
πΆ Routes traffic through real household IPs
π΅ More expensive, usually billed per GB
β Bypasses a lot of common bans, especially if on cleaner subnets
Mobile Proxies
π± Reroutes through actual mobile networks
π« Harder to detect or block
π° Premium pricing, not offered by all providers
π’ Where to Buy Proxies
You should aim to have at least 500β1000 unique proxies for optimal performance. Always prioritize USA-based proxies unless otherwise specified.
π‘ Some providers offer discount codes via their Discords. Always check!
β
Recommended: Webshare Proxies
π₯ Very popular and widely used
πΈ Affordable and fast
π§ Tip: Their pricing is strangeβ251 proxies cost less than 250 due to discount tiers. Always try adding one more!

format.
Before importing:
β Make sure your proxies are formatted like this:
ip:port:username:password
β In Glowie, toggle Proxy? = On
β Then import your proxy list via the file browser
Once imported, Glowie will route all network traffic through your proxies. You're now good to go.
