🌐 Proxy Guide

Proxies are essential when botting. Without them, websites will often block or rate-limit your IP address due to too many requests coming from a single source. Proxies prevent this by routing your traffic through different IPsβ€”giving you more reach, less bans, and better overall performance.

A small investment in proxies can make a massive difference in your success rate. In fact, we highly recommend mixing proxies from multiple providers to create a more diverse and resilient pool.

🧠 Understanding Proxy Types

Datacenter / ISP Proxies

  • πŸ’Έ Most affordable

  • ⚑ Great for speed and high thread count bots

  • ❗ Can get blocked on more protected sites

Residential Proxies

  • πŸ“Ά Routes traffic through real household IPs

  • πŸ’΅ More expensive, usually billed per GB

  • βœ… Bypasses a lot of common bans, especially if on cleaner subnets

Mobile Proxies

  • πŸ“± Reroutes through actual mobile networks

  • 🚫 Harder to detect or block

  • πŸ’° Premium pricing, not offered by all providers

🏒 Where to Buy Proxies

You should aim to have at least 500–1000 unique proxies for optimal performance. Always prioritize USA-based proxies unless otherwise specified.

πŸ’‘ Some providers offer discount codes via their Discords. Always check!

  • πŸ”₯ Very popular and widely used

  • πŸ’Έ Affordable and fast

  • 🧠 Tip: Their pricing is strangeβ€”251 proxies cost less than 250 due to discount tiers. Always try adding one more!

πŸ“₯ Importing Your Proxies into Glowie

After purchase, your proxy provider should give you the ability to download your proxy listβ€”usually in a .txt format.

Before importing:

  • βœ… Make sure your proxies are formatted like this:

    ip:port:username:password
  • βœ… In Glowie, toggle Proxy? = On

  • βœ… Then import your proxy list via the file browser

Once imported, Glowie will route all network traffic through your proxies. You're now good to go.
