β What Is a Catchall?
A catchall email allows you to create an unlimited number of email addresses under one domain without manually registering each one. You can then receive all emails at a single destination inbox.
This is especially useful for Glowie's modules that require unique emails for each entry or account.
π Purchasing a Catchall Domain
Go to IONOS or any affordable domain registrar.
Search for a domain of your choice (e.g.,
egglord21232.com
).Make sure it's available and costs $1/year.
Add it to your cart and complete the checkout process.
Confirm your email to activate your domain.
β οΈ Important: Turn off auto-renewal or use a VCC to avoid being charged the full price next year ($17+).
π© Setting Up Email Forwarding (IONOS)
Go to the IONOS Dashboard.
Click Menu β Email.
On the right side under "Email Forward", click Create.
In the popup:
For Email: type

(this means "all incoming emails")Choose your purchased domain (e.g.,
egglord21232.com
)For Forward Email: enter your Gmail or catchall inbox (e.g.,
yourname@gmail.com
)Click Save

Send an email to any random address under your domain:
example@yourdomain.com
Check your Gmail or catchall inbox to make sure the email is received.
If it arrives, your catchall is successfully configured!
