📡 EJOIN Setup & Email Forwarding

EJOIN is a telecom hardware brand widely used for bulk SMS, SIM management, VoIP, and GSM gateways. In Glowie, it's mainly used for receiving SMS codes and forwarding them via email for streamlined automation.

✉️ Step 1: Access SMS Forward Settings

  1. Log into your modem’s UI.

  2. On the left-hand panel, click SMS/MMS Settings.

  3. Then click SMS Forward.

🛠️ Step 2: Configure Forwarding Settings

Under Basic Settings, apply the following:

  • Forward Protocol: Email

  • Content Before: Disabled

  • Multiple Port: Disabled

  • Sender: Enter the email address you're forwarding from.

  • Password: Enter the App Password (not the regular Gmail password).

  • Recipient: Gmail address where you want SMS to be sent.

  • Global Subject (optional): Add a label or leave blank.

📝 Important Notes:

  • You must use a Gmail account with App Password enabled.

  • Do not use your standard Gmail password — generate a new app-specific password in your Google account settings.

  • Save your app password securely (e.g., in GlowKey or a password manager).

🔑 Step 3: Insert Gmail Credentials into Glowie

Once you’ve set up forwarding:

  • Open GlowKey

  • Go to Modules > IMAP Settings

  • Insert the Recipient Gmail and App Password you used in Step 2

🌐 Step 4: Accessing Your EJOIN API Key

To use Glowkey’s built-in EJOIN module, you’ll need to port forward your modem so it can be accessed remotely.

  • After port forwarding, follow the guide inside GlowKey’s EJOIN module to retrieve and enter your API key.
